Statement of Intent

CARD is for a thriving town centre ~ with shops and businesses and places to meet.

CARD is for the natural growth of Cupar ~ with businesses and housing able to develop at a sustainable rate in the interests of the inhabitants of Cupar.

CARD is for the community of Cupar.

CARD is against Fife Council rubber stamping Developer Driven Development ~ without due regard to the best interests of the Cupar community.

We are Cupar residents.

We reside in all compass points of the town.

We care passionately about the town & its future.

What does CARD want?

That Fife Council properly consults the people of Cupar before agreeing and adopting plans.
Meaningful information is made available to Cupar which allows residents to understand what is being delivered in plans.
Adequate time and support is given to consider information before views are given to the Council.
That Fife Council modifies plans to reflect majority views of Cupar.
